A bundle that’ll run until July 2022 from Rolling for Seduction will donate all proceeds to charities supporting reproductive rights in the United States of America.
I talk just a little about the rollback of human rights in the “land of the free” in the latest Audio EXP podcast.
Rolling for Seduction put some money on the table with this $20 bundle.
You need to be registered 18+ at DriveThruRPG to even look at the bundle page. There’s naked flesh on the front covers of the books but taken from art. I think. It’s not always clear.
On offer are;
- Erotic Skill Trees
- Slimefolk: an Erotic 5E race
- The Beckoner: an Erotic 5E Summoner Class
- The Inkblood: an Erotic 5E Tattooist Class
- The Lusty Sighs: an Erotic 5E Brothel
- The Mesmerist: an Erotic 5E Hypnotist Subclass
- The Roaring Pit: an Erotic 5E Coliseum
- The Thrallmaster: an Erotic 5E Tandem Class
I went and purchased the $5 Erotic Skill Trees download to research this story. That’ll be in my library forever and I keep on reading it as “Erotic Trees”.
It’s a 19-page download, adult, and beyond the naked dude on the cover without pictures.
Here’s some snippets;
Erotic Skill Trees add one more element to the mix. Instead of training to bring a character’s skills to the apex of ability, erotic trees are focused on improving a character’s potential in the arena of sexuality.
RAISED HACKLES
All you need to do is point towards a target, and animal instinct will do the rest. Your allies who are Beasts make attacks and Strength-based skill checks at Advantage when they are Aroused or Desperate.
FAILURE’S PRICE
Your enemies shrink under your watchful gaze, worried that even in their attempts to oppose you, they’ll be find wanting. Your disapproval is sharp as a knife, and just as deadly. The fear is justified: your enemies will be weighed, and more than likely, they will be found wanting. When an enemy you can see within 30 feet fails a save, they take damage equal to the amount they failed the save by
D&D’s actually had a long history of erotic content. Just in the last few days, a Kickstarter for the spiritual successor to the Palace of the Silver Princess launched. That’s the first D&D adventure to be officially commissioned and written by a woman. It’s alleged that author Jean Wells made it far too kinky. TSR hated it and tried to bury it.
The D&D 3 era of 2003 had drama when some of the official Wizards of the Coast team set up Project Valar to publish the Book of Erotic Fantasy.
That led to changes to the d20 license, the Book of Erotic Fantasy being stripped (of the license), and me being cheeky. What did I do? The d20 license banned “bathroom content” so I commissioned some D&D bathroom content.
It might well be the case that Rolling for Seduction‘s erotic 5E content isn’t for everyone, but they are raising money for charities. As long as the adult-themed content is only read by well-balanced adults, then only good will come from the project and healthy discussions around sex and sexuality.
