Dice that roll with a dragon’s eye and glow in their display

I first saw dice with eyes, liquid centres, and a balance worked out so that you were always watched at Oumcraft’s store. I’ve seen other people do it since, but maybe someone else did it first.

I know that Oumcraft then went on to raise money on a Kickstarter for the freaky eye dice and is now back with dragon eye dice and a glowing tower to light them up. The campaign is nearly funded, and you can find out more from Kickstarter.

There are various colour options planned, from clear to acid (green), and it looks like you can go for no ink (to see the eye better) or ink (to see the number better).

The dragon eye d4 is worthy of note, too, being a different design from the traditional pyramid.

Hello everyone! We here at Oumcraft are proud to present our latest edition of the handmade dice series: “Dragon eye-rolling dice” Each dice set is hand polished to a clear and shiny finish, and our liquid core ensures that the eye will always roll facing up! We’ve decided to branch out and create a LED dice holder, the “Dragon’s tower”. The tower has a manually posable central eye that also glows a color of your choosing, thanks to the included remote control. The top dice showcase platform of the tower also glows, perfect for showing off magical effects or setting the perfect mood for your role-playing game.

Oumcraft are based in Thailand, but the Kickstarter pledges are in Canadian Dollar, and I guess that makes it easier for most people.

The pledge tiers are simple; pledge CA$1 or more and get… well, it depends just much more you pledge. Oumcraft are simply using Kickstarter’s ability to let you to change your pledge amount to attach a shopping list.

You can mix and match the following;

I imagine there will be a lot of post-campaign picking of colours!

Or, if you’re more of a one-and-done Kickstarter user, you can pledge CA$ 76 (about £49) to get one complete set. That means you get 7 dice, pick the core eye, the dice colour and the ink colour.

Oumcraft can ship anywhere in the world, and you’ll have shipping to work out, and huge orders (more than 1KG of dice!) will be split into multiple shipments.

The estimated delivery is March 2023.
