Evil Genius Games have the license to a host of official movie RPG tie-ins, including Escape From New York.
A preview of the Everyday Heroes-powered setting is now available as a free download from DriveTHruRPG.
The original 1981 movie stars Kurk Russel as convicted bank robber Snake Plissken is sent into the giant security max prison that New York of the future (1997) has become. Why? To rescue the crash-landed U.S. president.
Everyday Heroes is a system which takes the learnings from d20 Modern and with some of that original team merges it into 5e. It’s run a successful Kickstarter and an Everyday Heroes Quickstart is also available for free.
The Quickstart is some 96-pages long and the Escape from New York preview is 22. The sample is an adventure;

The schedule has Escape From New York adventure slated for an early 2023 release.
