Play as an outlaw 1% biker gang member or vigilante, but the bikers in The Fallen Few are protective and ambitious for their freedom.
The d20-based RPG from author Mitchell Tierney is on Kickstarter with a target of AU$5000 to hit in two months. You can see the progress or join in from the pitch page.
In the game, The Fallen Few are a biker gang or motorcycle club led by Sonny Bordello, Gage O’Connor and Zetty Mercy. These are NPCs that should or could feature in your games. PCs can join their chapter or start one of their own under the umbrella of The Fallen Few.
The d20 is one in which a target number must be beaten for a character to be successful, but the full range of gamer dice are used.
There are several ranks to choose from, including President, Treasurer, Road Captain and Prospect, just to name a few. Instead of classes, there are employment status. Each player can choose to be a bouncer, tattooist, mechanic, ex-military VET medic or even a proprietor of adult establishments. Several more are in the book, along with opportunities for growth and prosperity. You also choose what type of motorcycle you want to ride and can upgrade and customise it to your liking.
Campaign missions include collecting debts, building your club in the town of Chapel Hill, dealing with law enforcement, running guns for the Irish mafia and protecting your territory and clubhouse. Each campaign starts around the club table where dues are paid and decisions are made. Each player has their vote on new members and chapters can be set up and played as allies or rivals with other players. Create your club, create your rules and ride out together.
A pledge of AU$25, which is about £15, is enough to support the project and pick up a PDF copy of the rules. That download includes several starting campaigns.
A softcover edition of the game is included in the thank you rewards for backers who pledge AU$60 or more. The hardcover is swapped in at AU$75.
There are higher and limited tiers. AU$200 includes the core rules’ hardcover and the campaign book’s softcover. There are tiers at AU$500 and AU$1,000 as well.
The slated delivery date is November 2022, except for the PDF, due in September.
