If funded, Fantasy Feasting will be a 5e sourcebook to bring magical items, subclasses and new creatures to your D&D games. It will also be a complete cookbook with contributions from a diverse team of cooks and writers.
There will be 30 recipes and 30 5e mechanics, but the campaign must first raise $12,000 in this busy season. The Kickstarter has three weeks left to run, and you can pledge or check totals on the pitch page.
There’s a large infographic of people involved, a dedicated Twitter and Discord.
The rewards come via DriveThruRPG, from the PDFs to physical deliveries via coupons. You’ll have to pay costs, including shipping, but the pledge is taken instead of profit.
You’re planning on making some delicious Trufflehunter Treats for dinner tonight, you open up your book and write a number of items on the grocery list, surely you’ll remember the rest. You get to the store with the best of intentions, browsing delicious offerings you are led astray by your nose. You’re certain you have everything you need, but when you return home you find yourself carrotless! While the book is portable and some people enjoy making shopping lists, we here at Fantasy Feasting have got your back!
It’s a pledge of $15 to unlock a PDF copy of the book, get your name in it and pick up the kudos of a Discord backer role.
If you can increase it to $25 with your support, the print-on-demand coupon for the softcover premium is added. Then, at $35, there’s also a coupon for the shopping list cards deck.
Above the tiers are more than one copy of the book, which, I imagine, suits retailers best. However, at $500, you get to have a modified version of your family recipe added, and I suspect that might make a quirky birthday gift for a mother or father.
If all goes to plan, Fantasy Feasting will be delivered in February 2023.
