Geek Native has permission to share a healthy amount of art from the Polyhedra Core Engine-powered Nebula Chaos.
While Polyhedra Games offer its core rules to third-party publishers, Nebula Chaos is one of theirs and on Kickstarter with about three weeks left to cross the finishing line. You can learn more about it from the pitch page.
The project is to fund a high-octane action RPG as Nebula Chaos promises technicolour space opera with a DIY mentality. It’s laser-sword, space portals and bounty hunters out in their glory.
Inspiration for the game is liberal in its reach, from Cowboy Bebop and Saga to Heavy Metal and Futurama and passing through Firefly, Mass Effect and others on the way.
The RPG, if funded, follows Justice Velocity as the second official title for the Polyhedra Core Engine system.
In the distant future, in a neighboring galaxy, the Thungrarian Empire has gained control of nearly every star system. Space piracy and smuggling are rampant, so long as outlaws can manage to stay one step ahead of the Thungrarian fascists and their laser-spitting starships.
Backers offering $10 in space money (real money) will get the PDF of the game.
Those who can find $30 will also get the softcover through DriveThruRPG’s print-on-demand service. That means extra to pay later, as there always is.
At $40, that physical copy becomes a hardback.
There are higher tiers with extra shipping costs, such as the $55 level, which adds in a t-shirt or $90, which includes a 4-inch unpainted model.
