Uber Dungeon are promising quality canvas messenger bags and dice, all with tabletop RPG themes, in exchange for Kickstarter pledges.
This bag fan certainly has noticed the embroidered designs and that the Kickstarter is several times through its funding goal. You can find out more on the project page.
The bags are 4.5 inches wide, 15 long and 12 tall, which is important when you measure up to the hardback RPG standard. There are three colours as well; brown, grey and black.
Uber Dungeon note there’s a double thick bottom, magnetic snaps on the front pockets, two inner pockets, one inner zipper pocket, padded and double adjustable strap and a back side padded 15″ laptop pocket.
There’s a whole bunch of designs and, gosh, shout out to the otter holding a dice, the wolf, displacer beast, mindflayer, kobold and lich king, but there are others!
The campaign isn’t all about the bags. There are also dice on offer, just in case you need some. No? Just in case you have enough? Also no. Me too.
Temptingly, there are stickers, pins, dice bags and even lanyards, clips and dice trays (which look to be of the All Rolled Up style).
You can support the campaign by sharing it on social media or pledging money without a reward. However, for $12, there’s one set of exclusive gamer dice, which goes up to two sets for $24 and 4 for $48.
The first tier to mention the Messenger Bag as a reward is $65, with international shipping to be sorted out. You also get dungeon loot that might unlock in the campaign.
If you want to own the Kickstarter, you can go higher, and at $72, you won’t get a bag but will get the loot and six dice sets.
There are tiers at $90, $102, etc., all the way up to $390, which offer combinations of dice and bags. That top tier is for six messenger bags, and I imagine that’s for either hardcore collectors or retailers.
Ube Dungeon estimates a February 2023 delivery on the campaign.
