The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel trailer starts with military action amongst the snow and then moves on to chilly life in the army.
The upcoming anime is based on the RPG of the same name, a title that’s a five-star PS4 game still on Amazon.
Basquash! Hidekazu Sato will direct the series, introducing a new heroine not seen in the RPGs. Made by Tatsunoko Production, this Legend of Heroes Trails will be set in the western part of the continent of Zemuria, according to Crunchyroll. However, the show’s title clearly says it’s the Nothern War.
The new hero is front and centre on the newly released character poster key visual. There’s also a most unusually shaped giant sword on display that declines any attempt at having a sharp edge. I’ve not played the RPG and so I look forward to seeing how that weapon is used.
