Early access is open for the Avatar Legends Nexus. Magpie’s tabletop RPG of the Nickelodeon show has signed with Demiplane for an online toolkit. Avatar Legends join Marvel Multiverse Nexus, Free League Nexus, World of Darkness Nexus and Pathfinder Nexus.
Kickstarter backers are getting in first, with the rest of us to follow later. The digital version of the core rules can be pre-ordered today and are due on October 26th.
What’s a Nexus? It’s an online content library, so you can quickly get to the rules and lore you need. Next year, when the Avatar Legends Nexus leaves early access, there will also be character tools to facilitate play.
The Nexus also acts as a matchmaker, finding a group and helping you communicate with friends through video, voice and text.
As of yet, a Nexus isn’t a virtual tabletop, but Demiplane does have a deal with TaleSpire VTT.
