Monsters is a horror tabletop game where the characters are outcasts and likely scapegoats for the crimes of a nearby horror.
Leonardo Lucci’s English and Italian campaign has hit funding goals with more than two weeks left on the countdown clock. You can find out more or join in from the Kickstarter page.
Monsters, a narrative game, suits three to six players. The stories are divided into six Acts, each made up of Scenes and coordinated by the Chroniclers.
The catch is that while the digital content will be professionally translated from Italian to English, the physical rewards won’t be. There’s no shipping of goods outside of Italy either.
Monsters features a rule-system aimed at creating an engaging and fast-paced playing experience. The Position Roll – the base mechanic in the game – is a chance to influence the game to reach the Climax of a Scene, often unexpectedly. Whoever interprets one of the Characters can activate the Position Roll mechanic at any time during a Scene.
You can support this indie RPG by sharing it on social media or by offering some cash. If you can contribute as much as €22, you’ll be rewarded with a PDF of the core rules, extra materials and stretch goals.
The higher pledges, which are only offered in Italian, are €45, €65 and €90.
The estimated delivery date for the batch is November 2023.
