The Monty Python RPG, aka Monty Python’s Cocurricular Mediaeval Reenactment Programme, has a quickstart, aka Monty Python’s Supplemental Educational Resource Materials for Pre- or Inter-Course Study.
The Kickstarter is still live, with 60 hours on the clock at the time of writing. There’s been over 13,000 backers and $1,720,000 pledged.
The quickstart does not have a page of its own. Instead, you must visit Exalted Funeral’s homepage and add the $0.00 product to your cart.
It’s free, but Exalted Funeral’s eCommerce solution still offers you four interest-free instalments.
The 77-page quickstart features;
- Gameplay rules, with content for players and game masters alike,
- 3 Heads of Light Entertainment personae: Lord Kinwoodie, Priscilla Mortar and Pestle, and Dino Vercotti,
- 4 Pre-generated characters: the Enchanter, the Knight, the Peasant, and the Troubadour,
- The Brachet & The Black Heart: A 19-page, ready-to-run adventure.
As Exalted Funeral point out, the free quickstart might not align with the final RPG when it’s out.
