Rookie Jet has made some anime-inspired RPGs set in horrible worlds or confronting dangerous people. Chronicle Connection Plus is a dating RPG. I suppose there’s a clever and cynical joke about sticking to the theme!

The art all looks feminine to me, but I’m a Scottish bloke, so what do I know about feminine? I have got a kilt in the cupboard. However, all Connections and Character Types in the game use gender-neutral pronouns.
The game includes 10 of these Connections and 10 Character Types in its 40+ pages. It’s colourful but printable in black and white.
Chronicle Connection Plus is a solo-journaling TTRPG that takes place in the 90’s, centered around the act of recording your journey of romance, life, mistakes, and success. in Chronicle Connection Plus, the Character you play as is the protagonist of a romance story and the plot of this story advances as your character writes in their diary and interacts with their “Connection” over a period of 24 days.
Backers can support the indie studio with pledges and shares. Those who commit to $10 will get the Chronicle Connection Plus core rules and Character Sheets in PDF.
The print-on-demand from DriveThruRPG coupon for the softcover is added at $16. The hardcover swaps out the softcover at $20. In both cases, you still have to pay the at-cost production and shipping fees.
