There’s a 20% discount code ‘Christmas22’ at Happy Geek right now. What also pleased me is that I asked them for their insight into what’s selling well and got answers.
Right! Thanks! That’ll make my Christmas shopping much easier as I can use this list for inspiration and safety at the same time.
It’s a new shop on my radar, but I found it while looking for geeky international retailers that didn’t have dire reviews. Happy Geek has a simple nav with four categories; TV Shows, Animes, Movies and Gaming.
As we’ll see, pulling ‘Anime’ out from both TV and movies makes a lot of sense for this retailer.
Happy Geek’s Christmas 2022 best sellers
(So far!)
- Console 10K Games, Stick 4K
- Set of 12 Action Figures “Naruto” (7CM)
- Various Figures “Dragon Ball”
- Portable Game Console (2500+)
- Figures Beerus & Jiren 30CM (Dragon Ball)
- Sets of Figures “Dragon Ball” (5-7CM)
- Figures “Attack on Titan”
- Figure “Luffy Gear 5” (One Piece) 17CM
- Figure “Shenlon” + LED + Dragon Balls (15CM)
- Figures 30CM “Avengers”
Well! That list is dominated by lookalike tech and anime, especially Dragon Ball. There’s just Spider-man who manages to wriggle in there for a Western-centric view.
I have to say I especially like the glowing Shenlon, which is made by Bandai themselves in China.
Will this merch get to you by Christmas? Happy Geek says they ship within 2 days and there’s a flat worldwide shipping rate. They’re based in Malaysia, a reasonably common e-commerce hub for connecting Western and Eastern markets but still intimidating.
