John and Nicole Clark’s Kickstarter project Eldritch Adventure Journal has hit its Kickstarter goal. The result? Some level-up quality notebooks and character sheets for your D&D and 5e games.
The mystical-styled notebooks are 8.5 by 11 inches, which means they’ll fit alongside your D&D core books. You can find out more, or back, from the pitch page.
Dangerously, the pitch for the project reminds us that the holidays are just around the corner but these particular journals won’t be ready any time in 2022. Backing these journals means you, or a friend, will be getting some cool character log books for 2023.
There are two types of journals; the Eldritch Adventure Journal and the Occult Journal. Each has;
- 2 full character sheet pages
- 1 spell sheet
- 21 blank but thematically decorative pages
Stretch goals will add to this tally.
We’ve been playing D&D and DM’ing since 1979, and I can still dig through old boxes and find the charaters I played as a kid. Those ancient sheets are erased, scratched, scribbled and faded, but they are treasures full of amazing memories of defeating Giants, Drow, Liches and Beholders. Nicole conceived these journals as slim books that will keep all the info you need and slide right onto your shelf in a way that smaller, fatter journals will not. And having a full sized character sheet to reference means not turning a bunch of pages during combat and encounters. We designed these for how we like to play, and we hope you’ll love them as much as we do!
It’s just a backing of $6 to be rewarded with either the Eldritch Adventure or Occult Adventure Journal for 5e. Note that they’ll be coming print-on-demand from DriveThruRPG. You will have to pay them to print it and ship it to you.
If you want both, then it’s $11, and you can buy more by adding $11 in Bonus Support when pledging.
That’s it. A very simple tier with the Kickstarter giving you access to the designs.
John and Nicole estimate that the project will be delivered in January 2023.
