For the next two weeks, Itch.io is hosting the Solstice Fantasy tabletop RPG bundle.
There are over 50 one-shot games, journalling games and systems with a solstice theme. That means RPG content about winter, about warmth, and as the Victorians liked, there are some spooky solstice content offerings too.
There’s Housewarming from Whimsy Machine, a game about friendship, A Single Pair, from Tabletop Hotish, a cosy game about the life of a pair of mittens and Tin Star Games’ Relics: A game of Angels about trapped angels, to name but three.
Creators are splitting profits from the bundle evenly, and the money will be used to help fund the creation of more. It’s not a charity deal, but it is a cycle deal, fitting for the solstice, where supporters like you and I can get our hands on what’s been made before to enable what will be made next.
The bundle has a goal of $500, and it’s made more than half of that target already, with $25 as the asking price. That’s a 91% saving on the normal retail value of the games offered.
