The latest streaming charts from JustWatch and scratch at a familiar debate; are shows like Star Wars or Game of Thrones geeky shows if so many people watch them?
Equally, what about shows like Wednesday? Before we had codified much of modern geek culture, the Addams family was a thing. The first TV series aired from 1964 to 1966, an entire decade before we had D&D.

It’s worth keeping these charts in context. JustWatch does not know what people are watching; ironically, they just know what people are searching for.
I suspect that gives a twist on the data that TV programs to which people have easier access might have a smaller ratio of search-to-interest. JustWatch doesn’t share the details of its methodology, and I don’t know if they normalise out (or how they could) user quirks like this.
Nevertheless, I’ve been in pubs where conversations about TV and movies have resulted in people reaching for their smartphones and heading straight to JustWatch. So, based on my own anecdotal experience, I’m happy to suggest that the site gets statistically significant traffic.
