The D&D movie, Honor Among Thieves, won’t lean exclusively on digital for all the iconic monsters and fantasy species (nee races).
IGN has a behind-the-scenes feature with some snippets from the cast, and it also shows us some neat animatronics.
The featurette lets fans catch up with writer/director John Francis Daley and stars Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, and Hugh Grant for a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves film as they discuss their characters.

The clips and interviews very firmly stick to the official synopsis, although there’s still fan speculation as to whether there might be a catch around Hugh Grant’s character.

eOne, the Hasbro-owned production company that made the movie, is currently up for sale. Wizards of the Coast’s owner bought the company for more than $1bn, then the lockdowns hit and filming ground to a halt, eOne managed the D&D movie, and, well, Hasbro thinks it’s time to sell up…
The movie is due in cinemas on the 31st of March.
