VIZ Media have the license to Hajime Komoto’s manga, from which the anime is based, and they describe the story;

Thanks to his daily training, he’s become a fitness god, but he harbors a secret that could turn his life upside down—he can’t use magic! Tomoya Tanaka, fresh from the success of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is directing, and the anime is due out in April. The 15th volume of the manga is due out just before, in February, and might be the last as teh story is believed to be in the final art.
Voice of Louis James Moriarty from Moriarty the Patriot, Chiaki Kobayashi plays the main character Mash. Oh, but did I mention his full name? Mash Burnedead.
