RPG designer Rachel Williamson has launched and funded their first Kickstarter as Paranormal Power wins crowdfunding support.
The supplement introduces psionics not just for 5e but also for EN Publishing’s A5e, aka Advanced 5e, and you can find out more about it on the pitch page.
The campaign offers psionics with a contemporary style and dreamlike qualities suited for different playing styles.
The Esper class brings four archetypes giving PCs attacks like telekinetic storms, healing routes like chirurgery and physical boosts. New powers and spells are included for a broader range of classes and seven more archetypes.
Paranormal Power has serpentfolk from an ancient empire, now temporally displayed, called Nedraz and a mindscape for battles. There are also new monsters.
There’s a touch of horror to the game, and Rachel notes;
Ever wanted to have a Pennywise or Freddy Krueger style monster but felt stymied by how mundane most low-level monsters tend to be? Try the Bogey. With their terrorizing capabilities and a history check to know how horrifying their pasts are, it’ll have your players panicking!
A digital copy of the 64-page illustrated D&D sourcebook is the reward for backers who pledge $20 in support.
There’s also a physical copy of the book, with DriveThruRPG’s print-on-demand system in place, added for backers at $50.
Rachel estimates the PDF will be ready as soon as February, with the physical copy coming the month after, in March.
