Grim Moon Studio is an Italian design studio with an ENnie gold-winning setting for 5e called Nightfell. Nightfell is a horror fantasy at Children of the Moon is the werewolf lycanthropy expansion.
Children of the Moon have already (and easily) been summoned by the Kickstarter community, smashing targets, and Mana Project Studio are on board to help. You can pledge or find out more on the pitch page.
Nightfell won gold or Best Monster / Adversary last year, and you can download a quickstart from DTRPG to check out the setting.
Grim Moon Studio are quick to point out that the rules in Children of the Moon can be used in any 5e setting. There’s more than just wolves, too, with other Werebeats covered.
Children of the Moon promises to give readers a new, broader, and deeper viewpoint on Lycanthropy and all the tools needed to include Werebeasts in campaigns. Characters can become Lycanthropes by embodying these monsters or convert from prey to chasers by emulating ferocious hunters of these untamed monstrosities. Whether player characters want to hunt these terrible creatures down or become one of them, the supplement offers new spells, artefacts, and a bestiary that expands on Lycanthropes.
Nightfell – Children of the Moon is a 200+ pages volume about Werebeasts, featuring material inspired by Italian and European folklore and brand-new legends about Lycanthropy and the Lunar deity Lupecernos. A perfect companion for your sessions and campaigns.
You can support the project by sharing it or pledging money. Backers who support with €12 (about £11) unlock the PDF and digital stretch goals and get access to the pledge manager as a thank you.
Backers at €45 also get the hardback.
There are plenty of tiers after that; €57 adds in the Night digital bundle, €110 Q-Workshop dice and €155 for the Tome of the Moon, each stacking on the one before.
Then, at €180, there’s the core Nightfell book and Bestiary in hardcover, with Night Master screen and the 50-limited €430 tier is about to sell out.
Even with Mana Studio’s support, Grim Moon Studio estimate a delivery of February 2024.
