Just how hardcore RPG are you? Are you a 24k gold-plated d20 ring hardcore?
The D20 Mage Ring will be made in Paris by Cédric Guibert and partners. The project depends on a successful Kickstarter, which is currently slated to open in March.
How much will gold-plated d20, which can be detached from its ring holder and used as a luxury Save versus Death or final big boss death strike, cost? Cédric wouldn’t say.
There will be limited special offers when the campaign launches, so if you’re curious, the BackerKit pre-launch page is where to sign-up.
I did get permission to show some exclusive photographs, and we’re expecting more and a video when the Kickstarter comes to life.
One ring to rule them all? Nope, the D20 Mage Ring will have at least seven options;
- The Fire ring
- The Earth ring
- The Water ring
- The Air ring
- The Life & Light ring
- The Death & Darkness ring
- The pure ring

Cédric Guibert and their team have day jobs with the major French fashion houses. We’re talking pros who must work with luxury routinely.
I’m sure I won’t be able to afford the Mage Ring, but I am curious about how much Euros one will cost. I can’t find 24k gold-plated dice, but FallacyDice has a 14k gold-plated cast metal d20 which costs $120 on Etsy (that’s about €111). I wonder whether Kickstarter success means the rings will ship before Valentine’s Day 2024.
