Six Planes Games as a Zine Quest with a week left to run. The project has been funded, which means plans to make a TTRPG about battling the alt-right Christofascist government in post-apocalyptic Florida are in motion.
The project is actually for two zines; one for the players and the second with tables, options and details. You can find out more or back at Kickstarter.
The last city is surrounded by a dome protected from the apocalypse by a fascist corporation.
Characters must build a web of spies, overthrow the company and kill an immortal. That’s all.
Six Planes Games say that Kill Kindness is a bastardised mix of Powered by the Apocalypse, Blades in the Dark, Resistance and the publisher’s own Daemonologie. Or, if you prefer, there’s a guide to adapting to Mork Borg.
Kill Kindness is about American conservatism, nostalgic traditionalism, and christofascism. It is set in a place where race, gender, sexuality, disability, and class are regulated, controlled, and punished. Most importantly, it is about rejecting this worldview and brutally overthrowing it. Kill Kindness has safety features for how to manage these themes at your table and we do not endorse any play that ignores them.
You can back Kill Kindness from £1, which is enough to get a thank you in the zine.
£5 backers get a complete PDF edition of the game.
At £8, there’s the base print edition added in (with shipping to be added), and £15 is enough to get the core rules and the extra Manifesto edition in print. Alternatively, £15 could get you PDFs of everything the British publisher has done.
There are higher tiers; £25 for that full digital catalogue plus all the Kill Kindness Zines, £50 (limited) for a private game or £80 for a whole load of printed games.
The estimated delivery for each is July 2023, except the private game.
