Stratagemma has funded GenoFunk on Kickstarter, and there’s still time to join the Zine Quest. The Italian publisher is doing the project in English and Italian.

GenoFunk begins in a perfect world, and the game progresses to determine whether humankind screws up again or whether, maybe, something Wonderfull happens. It’s a path of decline or fairytale wonder.
Characters suffer from a condition called Sewer-Sterling Syndrome and it mutates people’s DNA. The Event, the fall which ruins the apex of transhumanism, hits them hard as without electric power there’s no ability to make the drugs that hold the syndrome back.
But there’s a touch, Mr Wonder comes to their door.
Humanity has reached the level of technology that transhumanists always dreamed of. Cybernetic implants, robots, artificial intelligence, physical immortality through technology and biology, the melding of mind and machine.
The total abandonment of fossile fuel, in favor of renewable, innovative energy. Climate returned to stability with massive interventions on the global ecosystem.
Nations and Federations don’t exist anymore. Now they’re called Corporations. For more than fifty years, only three have existed: Europe Co., America Co. and Asia Co. Africa and Oceania are still being abused for the exclusive purposes of tourism and resource extraction. Nobody lives there now, except for semi-annual inspections to extraction plants and droves of wealthy tourists. Everything else is handled by machines.
And then the Event came.
