The quirky fantasy comedy Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero has a trailer and promo poster.
The trailer has English subs and isn’t shy about a bit of fan service but it’s the spooky Ring-like girl in the closest that seems most interesting to me!
The Japanese title is Level 1 Maoh to One Room Yuusha and Yuusha, I think, translates into ‘Brave’. It’s a common hero name across manga.
Based on a comedy manga by toofu, with Seven Seas running an English language version, the anime is being directed by Kishuke Inoune with studios Silver Link and Blade involved.
Seven Seas describe it;
Ten years ago, the hero Max defeated the Demon Lord. In order to regain his power, the Demon Lord went into a deep slumber…but when he awakens, his body is only a chibi version of its fearsome form. Now curious to see what his enemy is up to, the Demon Lord visits Max, only to discover the mighty hero living in a dirty one-room apartment. The Demon Lord decides to move in with Max and help his old enemy become a formidable opponent once more!
The manga has been running in Comic Fuz since 2019, and the anime is due out in Japan this year.
