The history of slippers is pretty broad and multicultural. Native American moccasins are often notable works of art, and one time a “handy” way to move around on frozen ground inside their homes. The Victorians lived in such filthy streets that slippers were worn inside so that shoes did not scatter grime everywhere.
Western slippers leave their path in history from around the 12th century, but in China can be dated back to 4700 BCD and sometimes featured symbols of power.
Geeky retailer Fun has two alternative symbols with exclusive and adult-sized Snorlax slippers and Pikachu too.
Pikachu slippers
Fun says these adult slippers are Pika Powered Kicks and might be right. The site says they’re exclusive to the retailer, which is impressive and made by them.
I see two sizes: S/M, 10″ from heel to toe and L/XL, 11″.
Snorlax slippers
I don’t know about you, but I’m more inclined to Snorlax than Pika with energy when wearing slippers. Fun counterargue that you can’t always waste the day away.
Oh really, Fun? Just watch me!
