I think Rokudo’s Bad Girls is coming to Crunchyroll because Sony’s anime platform has uploaded a trailer to their official YouTube, provided the subtitles and is telling the world about it.
I don’t actually see an official confirmation, but Wikipedia has “Crunchyroll” as the anime’s licenser, although that lacks citation.
The plot follows first-year student Tousuke Rokudou wishes to live peacefully with his pals at Amori High, a delinquent school.
Rokudou receives a surprise parcel from his departed grandfather when he and his school friends are most desperate in the face of all the bullying. The package contains a priest’s uniform and a Heian-era manuscript with a demon-repelling magic rite written on it.
So, what does Rokudou do? He uses the scroll activation ritual to fight his delinquent tormentors. Sure enough, the magic works but not as expected, and the local delinquent girls stop tormenting Rokudou and fall for him instead. However, our hero uses this new and unexpected influence to try and make the school a better place.
The series is due in Japan on April 7th and is based on Yūji Nakamura’s Rokudō no Onna-tachi manga. Satelight is helming the project with Baki director Keiya Saito in charge. That’s an exciting prospect!
