Here’s a good idea! A tarot deck based on Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. It was an excellent book, and the TV series with Michael Sheen and David Tennant nailed it.
Why is it a good idea? Tarot sometimes called the devil’s picture book, is in theme with the show about angels and demons. I imagine the series was a bit of a gateway to things occult and exciting for some, especially with the leading men so popular.
Titan Books have recruited Minerva Siegel to turn the Amazon Prime Video into not just a Tarot deck, but a guidebook and Siegel has done projects like this before.
The deck will have Major and Minor Arcana, a decorative gift box, and illustrations of angels, demons, Witchfinders, Professional Descendants, and other characters from the comedy series.
The guidebook has, we’re told, enough for tarot practitioners of all skill levels, and Minerva practices divination herself.
I’ve spotted pre-orders and a nearly-final cover released in a few sites but no cards yet. It’s due out in October.
