“The Homebrew” podcast host Grant Mielke has smashed the campaign target for the Kickstarter MythCraft.

The system uses classes (11 in the core rules), lineages (14 in the book), backgrounds and occupations. We’re also promised reimaged combat, revamped, and that stretch goals will add to those.
In total, 350-pages are planned for the core rulebook, which includes magic items, lore on Ancerra and rules. There is also 300-page MythCrafter’s Guide and a 300-page Creature Compendium with several hundred monsters.

A Mythcraft Founder tier unlocks at $15, which offers early Discord access, and playtest. There’s also a book credit.
However, $60 is the reward tier for the core set in which first edition of the physical book.
There’s Mythcraft Box, a quickstart guide, character sheets, and a prebuild character guide called the Legends of MythCraft. $100 is needed to unlock that tier.
$180 upgrades to Essential Bundle to the Mythcrafter’s Guide Rulebook, the Creature Compendium Book, the official character sheets, multiple character sheets and the DM screen.
There’s a Collectors Edition, too. At $250, Kickstarter backers get an alternative cover edition, signed art prints, and Mythcraft dice set.
Even higher and exclusive tiers exist, but many have sold out, but there are some slots in the $500 Special Council Package tier.
Grant and team estimate January 2024 for the project’s delivery, with the playtest access much earlier.
