London’s Mondo craft brewers have collaborated with eOne on a limited-edition beer for the D&D movie. Honour Among Thieves’ craft beer is called Hither Thither.
eOne is, for now at least, as it may be for sale, Hasbro’s film company and its first project part of the D&D family is Honour Among Thieves.
The Hither Thither name is inspired by the magical staff, which lets people portal from one place to another. The beer Hither Thither is a 4.8% New England Pale Ale and is described by Mondo as bursting with fruit and haze.
Luke Drozd art dresses the can and shows creatures and locations from the film. The film, by the way, is not yet out in the UK.
Todd Matteson, Co-Founder of Mondo Beer, told press;
Dungeons & Dragons is one of the most iconic properties amongst craft beer drinkers and we were inspired by the film to create Hither Thither to transport drinkers into the world of Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves.
Meanwhile, eOne’s head of marketing, Chris Bresseling, has helped coordinate the deal. Chris told press;
We are delighted to have partnered with Mondo, an authentic British craft brewer, to create a Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves-inspired beer and a beautifully-designed limited edition can that we hope fans will love
The beer is due out tomorrow, the 27th, and will be available at specialist retailers. The movie is due out 31st of March.
