It’s not an April’s Fools’ as the RPG Publisher Spotlight is open for votes for May’s winning publisher.
Geek Native launched on Patreon as a way to offer an alternative for people running ad blockers and with the promise of using any money coming as money to put back into the community with writer, artist and related commissions, never on technical fees. The program grew to also offer backers occasional gifts, first dibs on unclaimed prizes and a vote on the RPG Publisher Spotlight.
The Spotlight isn’t really restricted to “publishers” as such as it welcomes artists and creators, pretty much anyone who can have an Itch.io or OBS account and is designed to shine the light on industry contributors who might not easily get it.
Patrons can vote in the poll for May at this private page.
