Too Cute Crisis is directed by Jun Hatori (Taisho Otome Fairy Tale), based on a script by Aya Satsuki (My Master Has No Tail) based on Mitsuru Kido’s manga of the same name.
The series kicks off in Japan this week, and the platform HIDIVE will be streaming it in English.
It’s HIDIVE who gives us the following synopsis;
Invading alien Liza Luna wants nothing more than to destroy planet Earth… after she gets in a little sightseeing, first. But her travels soon take her into a cat café, where the furry felines inside invade her heart just as surely as Liza invaded Earth! Destroying the world won’t be so easy now that she’s discovered the joys of kitty cats…
Too Cute Crisis is about cats helping postpone an alien invasion of the planet.
My question is this, though – is this a good idea? Would we be better off with new overlords, some fresh madness to guide the world and perhaps enforce peace at the pain of death? Or scritches?
