The latest trailer for KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World is a preview for the opening tune.
That’s a theme called “I Wish” by Rin Kurisu. Rin is also a voice actor and a former band 26-Ji no Masquerade member. The anime is based on Aoi Akashiro and Sonshō Hangetsuban’s Kaminaki Sekai no Kamisama Katsudō.
Other talents on the show include Junya Enoki as protagonist Yukito Urabe and Akari Kitō as the god Mitama. Studio Palette is involved with Yuki Inaba directing.
The story follows Yukito, who, in life, was the heir of a dodgy cult who dies only to reincarnate. And in theory, this new world has no gods, religion or even the concept of them.
A manga spin-off launched last year called What My Older Sister Does in a World Without Gods.
