So far, all the titles from Fuji’s TV deal with Crunchyroll look great. The partnership brings the Ultra+ block slot from Japan to the West and Crunchyroll’s other territories.
Two more are Bloody Escape (which is just a working title) and KamiErabi GOD.app.
Bloody Escape
Bloody Escape is currently slated for some time in 2024. Goro Taniguchi (One Piece Film Red) is also named as the original concept anime’s director, scriptwriter, and creator.
The series is coming via Polygon Pictures, which suggests plenty of backing. I also hope we really do have a main character with a prosthetic leg, as anime, of all storytelling forms, can surely embrace this type of representation in a truly kickass way!
KamiErabi GOD.app
The director is Ajin (a recommended anime) lead Hiroyuki Seshita, with Soul Eater and Fire Force character designer Atsushi Ohkubo attached.
GOD.app might be out as early as October 2023, so we should learn more about this studio UNEND project in just a few weeks.
