The Kingdoms of Ruin is on its way and due out in October. Hopefully, a streaming platform will pick it up.
The anime is based on Hametsu no Oukuku, a manga by yoruhashi, and set in a world where witches are persecuted through technology.
Seven Seas Entertainment have the license to ship with English manga. It’s Seven Seas who provide this synopsis;
Humanity long lived in harmony with witches, but an advanced scientific revolution has made the powers of a witch unnecessary. Succumbing to resentment and fear, the greatest nation in the world begins a brutal witch hunt and eliminates all witches from the land. After being forced to watch his beloved teacher die, Adonis, a witch’s apprentice, swears revenge on the empire that took everything away from him. It’s a bloody battle between science and magic in this thrilling new fantasy manga!
There’s also this from Amazon, who rate the manga 4.5/5.
For ages, humanity flourished through the power of magic, a gift from Witches to aid mankind. But times have changed. The scientific Gear Expansion has made both magic and witches obsolete. In order to liberate humanity from the blight of magic, the mighty Redia Empire began a ruthless hunt to exterminate all witches. Adonis was only a boy when the hunt began, apprentice to a witch he dearly loved. When she perishes at the hands of the empire, Adonis vows revenge. By this furious wizard’s power, blood will flow! An epic battle between science and magic begins.
Trust humanity to turn against people who once helped out. Telling this dark story is director Keitaro Motonaga and Yokohama Animation Laboratory worked on, you guessed it, the animation.
