Designed for D&D and Pathfinder, Monster Gaming’s stat tracker uses rollers inset into a case to track hit points, armour and the like while offering a dice tray and protected character sheet area.
There’s still about a month on the clock, and now nearly 200 backers as Kickstarter’s gaming community like what they see. You can look too at the pitch page.
Monster has been going for ten years, and this is not their first Kickstarter.
Whatever you think about all those dials (does it feel Fallout retro to you?), there’s a lot packed in. There’s magnetic storage, a clear and dry-erase acrylic board to cover whichever character sheet you put in (which doesn’t have to be d20 based), a dice area and that felt-lined tray for rolling dice or storing notes.
Monster Gaming fans can go big with this one with notepads, character sheets, paints and a lot of minis which also open up in the rewards.
The Monster Deluxe RPG Stat Tracker is an innovative and comprehensive alternative to the traditional pen and paper stat tracking process that is guaranteed to redefine and organize your gameplay.
A few tiers offer duplicate rewards, so let’s cherry-pick and start at $89 (about £72) for the first and generous one, which gets you the case, 25 character sheets and the Monster branded notepad. Shipping is limited and not cheap, given the size of the item.
Later, at $175, there are also the Status Effect condition rings, 28 painted monster minis, 32 painted townfolk links, a 2-sided RPG gaming mat and Monster combat risers. Isn’t that a deal on the minis alone?
