More AnimeJapan 2023 news to catch up on, and this time from Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation. There’s a part two, but that’s part two of series one, and now we have confirmation of series two.
You can watch the first part on Crunchyroll.
There’s a staff shuffle as the assistant director, Hiroki Hirano, steps up to be the lead director at Studio Bind. Toshiua Ono (The Promised Neverland) becomes the script supervisor, and Sanae Shimada becomes the character designer.
However, Masaazu Miuake and Makiko Doi return as art director and colour artist.
Crunchyroll describe the series (the first one) as;
When a 34-year-old underachiever gets run over by a truck, his story doesn’t end there. Reincarnated in a new world as an infant, Rudy will seize every opportunity to live the life he’s always wanted. Armed with new friends, some freshly acquired magical abilities, and the courage to do the things he’s always dreamed of, he’s embarking on an epic adventure—with all of his past experience intact!
I haven’t been watching, so I’m not entirely sure who the elf in the shades is, but I’m pretty sure it’s not Rudy. That makes me curious and more likely to watch! Aah, the power of marketing.
Crunchyroll says that series two will premiere in July.
