Sometimes I see things on Facebook that just tickle me, and this is one of them.
The meme, depicting a scene from Star Trek: The Next Generation, and captioned ‘Oh no. Picard has lost his face. Only YOU can help him by drawing a new face’, was posted by user Anthony Jacobs in the group Star Trek Shitposting – and led to some hilarious responses!
Here’s the original image, which to be fair has been doing the rounds for a while (in case you want to have a go and share yours with us):
And, just for shits and giggles, below are some of the best responses with regards to what happened to it! I had such a chuckle looking through these on the original post, so I hope you do, too!
From Doug Allen, captioned: “Morty! I turned myself into a Picard Morty! I’M PICARD RICK!”
Bobby Treichel contributed with: “Chief operations Data kun Ara ara!”
My absolute favourite so far is probably this offering by Cian Marsh: “He lost his face, but found glory in it place!”
Ethan A. Lunn wrote: “You only think there’s five lights because that’s what ‘They’ want you to think…”
Kevin Jon Davies: “I asked Mr Bean for help…”
Finn McCool wrote: “Off to share a malt with Beverly and Vash!”
Sean Clark: “It’s niiice” — I can’t believe how well this one naturally fits the image! Very nice work.
Mathieu Bourbonnière: “Make it sho.”
Dev Burgle chipped in with: “I don’t know why this popped into my head immediately…” — I almost choked on my tea, thanks Dev.
John Manly: “Smashing!”
Rob Madin: “Sorry I put so little effort in” — This one is inspired!!! Beautiful.
Timothy P Conboy: “Slenderman has lost his suit, help him by drawing a new one (I was just too lazy to make a better effort)” — Genius!!!
Brian Wallo: “You were expecting Picard… but it was I, Dio!”
Ivy Lyttle: “It’s his imposter.”
Ripley Asher: “HEY! WHO TURNED OUT THE LIGHTS??”
Laure Zsiga: “He didn’t just lose his face! He lost ✨The Expression✨”
Paul Reed: “What lights?”
John Junkins: “Now that he sees the 5 lights, he’s sooo much happier.”
rudy L. Wynn: “He had no face!”
Don Snaw: “Picard can draw his own face thank you very much.” — Actually, this may be my favourite!
Picard has lost his face, and the post is still going strong, so you can join in here (although it does require you being a member first).
