GAMA, the Games Manufacturers Association, is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to look after hobby games.
A jewel in the crown is the Origins Game Fair, an annual tabletop convention which attracts crowds and prestige. The Origins Awards is a big draw and includes Origins RPG, Origins Board Games and other categories.
The nominees for the 2023 Origins Award Nominees are out, and it’s especially dramatic as there’s been a two-year hiatus. The event runs from June 21st to 25th this year at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
(P.S. The Origins Award site says the Hampton Inn Downtown has sold out, but there’s limited availability left in the Courtyard Columbus.)
