Fainting Goat Games and Mike Lafferty has released a Honey Heist homage of an RPG with the alternative title of Fantasy Woodland Cocaine Heist Crew.
The primary name of the game is the snappier Cocaine Owlbear; you can pick it up from Itch.io for a Dollar. Or, if you want, perhaps you have a gift certificate to spend $3 from DriveThruRPG. The art is by Jacob Blackman, and the RPG seems good value from either site.
In the roleplaying game, you are a woodland creature that has gained sentience. How did you manage to become this intelligence, you might wonder? The answer is simple: magical cocaine.
You snatched a satchel of the enchanted powder from an unlucky traveller who tried to shortcut through your forest and now have a newfound thinking ability, even if it’s left you a bit fuzzy.
One thing your newly warped brain can tell is that there’s a plan in the satchel alongside the magical cocaine – it’s a complicated heist plan.
If you pull off this heist, you’ll be able to land more magical thinking powder and avoid reverting to a mundane woodland animal.
