Now you South Koreans can keep their Samsung earbuds safe with these new Samsung collab Pokémon charging cases – and they also look super fun!
At 27 years old (still younger than me), Pokémon is still an international favourite with fans, and Samsung once again hasn’t missed a trick with this latest collab in the form of three new Poké-themed charging cases.
Each of the cases come with stickers and cards of their related Pokémon, and you have to admit, they’re very cute. Unfortunately (and you may have guessed this is coming), for the time being they’re only available in South Korea. Why?!
This is off the back of their last Pokémon collab which was released just over a year ago. At the time, a special edition of its Galaxy Buds 2 wireless earbuds were sold with a bright red and white Poké ball replica.
The issue was that the case didn’t do much – with no extra functionality, or increase to the battery life of the earbuds. They were actually quite a hindrance for most people as they were almost impossible to quickly slip into a pocket – despite this, it did look super cool and of course sold out completely.
Each of these three designs can be bought with the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 for somewhere in the region of £100 (129,000 won), or for around £145 (199,000 won) if you purchase with the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.
However, the Poké cases can also be purchased separately for existing Galaxy Buds for just the small price of around £25 (39,600 won) – which isn’t bad, if they ever come here.
Booooooooooo.
