Sundial Games is now ten times over their pledge goal for a calendar on Kickstarter. It’s a desktop tear-away time-keeper that’ll provide an adventure a day.
Never coordinate 365 TTRPG sessions in 2024? Fear not; the Adventure-a-Day RPG is designed for solo play. You can find out more from the pitch page.
Rip off the old page to reveal the new day and challenge, and read the new day and what your hero has discovered. If you’re not running late for work, you can roll some dice to see if you’ve prevailed and then determine the outcome. You might lose health or gain loot.
You can lose health as the calendar has a combat system. You can have a combat calendar in 2024.
Curious about how it all works with inventories and NPCs? There’s a free Cartographer Quest! (PDF link).
Not enough insight? You can also check out the 2023 rules (PDF link) but there will be some changes to how this year will come together.
Sundial concedes some backers, such as those in Asia, might not get their calendar until January.
Backers at the $7 tier level will get a PDF version of the calendar, access to the pledge manager and stretch goals.
The physical copy unlocks as a reward at the $22 level, which also comes with a print-and-play PDF and mini dice.
Stepping up to $43 also adds the Hero Book, erasable markers and Wrenwood playing cards.
The big leap to $140 means adding a Wrenwood map dice tray, a whole set of enamel pins, drink coasters, premium dice and a leather pouch.
That’s not the top tier, though, as the $326 lets you add your own holiday to the calendar.
The estimated delivery date is dangerous in December.
