Wizards of the Coast and their partners at DMsGuild have been busy this week. The complete, as near as I can see it, 5e range for Roll20 is now available.
These aren’t downloads and are integrated with the Roll20 platform. Roll20 is now the parent of OneBookShelf and the DMsGuild.
The typical purchase includes maps and accompanying tokens for monsters and NPCs. Roll20 users with Plus or Pro subscriptions get dynamic lighting effects as well.
Roll20 includes rollable tables and rules built into the virtual tabletop so you don’t have to stop playing a scene to check what the books say. It’s about automation and a seamless experience.
Next year, Wizards of the Coast are expected to introduce their own VTT to rival Roll20. It’s perhaps not surprising to see WotC bringing their D&D content to Roll20 as they are unlikely to enforce exclusivity. Instead, the publisher will just be keen for as many people to play Dungeons & Dragons as possible.
Roll20 D&D core rule modules
I’m confident this is the complete set of core rules!
Roll D&D official expansion modules
Here are the D&D expansions, campaigns and supplements from Wizards of the Coast that I’ve noticed and are available for Roll20.
