LEGO has been showing off its new Marvel range, which some news sites are calling an 18+ Marvel range, but that’s likely due to the challenge of the builds, not the suitability of the content.
One eye-catching piece is Wolverine’s Adamantium Claws, and we get to see it because LEGO partner Bricks Megastore has the e-commerce page up already. It’ll cost AU$109.99, so I’d estimate that at around £60 in the UK and $70 in the US.
We’ve had LEGO gauntlets before, some official, some not and back in Superhero Week 2016, we had this look at Thanos and Infinity Gauntlet. Those two dramatic designs were unofficial and by master builder The Deathly Halliwell.
I think this official LEGO glove is the third in their series but the first outside the MCU. It’s expected out in the winter, and I can see nearly 600 pieces in the set.
I think these are quite a retro design of the claws, and that might be because X-Men ’97 is due out on Disney+ later this year. We might be seeing a bit of a preview of the Wolverine from that series.
If the Aussie Bricks Megastore is no good for you, then I’d watch the official LEGO store, Amazon, of course, and Zavvi also tends to have a good LEGO range.
This shameless buy-the-merch post is part of Superhero Week, and that means you’ve also got access to the teleport footer links, like that one, which will randomly jump you to more superhero themed content.
