Judge Dredd publisher Rebellion has home-grown British superheroes lost to the mists of time rediscovered and available in digital format on DriveThruComics.
There’s a catch. There are licenses in the way, and The Vigilant, a 148-page digital comic, is only available in certain countries. I didn’t even know that OneBookShelf sites, which include the DMsGuild, could restrict by geography.
The superheroes we might not have heard about in this collection include;
- Adam Eterno,
- Blake Edmonds,
- Thunderbolt the Avenger,
- The Leopard from Lime Street
I’ll admit. I’m not aware of any of those four!
The Vigilant #1 includes a trilogy of Vigilant stories by Transformers scribe Simon Furman and which are illustrated by artists such as Dark Soul’s Simon Coleby, Coffin Bound’s DaNi, Thirteenth Floor’s Henrik Sahlstrom, Spider-man’s Warwick Fraser-Combe, Staz Johnson and Will Sliney and also artists closer to core Rebellion such as Judge Dredd’s Jake Lynch.
Both PDF and CBZ editions of the book are available in the download.
