You read right. It’s just over a week until Barbie hits the cinema, and it’s looking like it’s going to be pretty awesome – but this post in particular is dedicated to ‘Just Ken’.
And before we get to the first look of John Cena as ‘Merman Ken’, let’s first just watch this incredible video released around three days ago now, entitled ‘Just Ken’.
And yes, I will take pause whilst I watch it again, too. Why? Because it’s brilliant.

NOW, John Cena time! I’m afraid we don’t get a proper full look at Cena‘s ‘Merman Ken’ just yet, but this photo is pretty bloody fantastic nevertheless – just lookit those flowing blonde locks! LOOKIT ‘EM!!!
The seashell necklace is pretty nice, too. Recently there’s been video circulating about how Cena came to make a cameo in Barbie, with us being able to hear both side of the story. Here’s Margo’s take:

The stories pretty much line up, but who pitched to who?! Either way, John Cena seems like a complete and utter gent, and I’m really happy he’s going to be playing one of the many Ken variants alongside Ryan Gosling.
Barbie is out at cinemas on July 21st and I am LIVING FOR IT!!! (Can you tell?)
