Studio ACGT’s Berserk of Gluttony anime is coming to Crunchyroll in October.
You can already buy Isshiki Ichika’s manga of the series on Amazon or the light novel. Seven Seas has the license. The anime’s English-subtitled trailer looks intense, dark and familiar.
Crunchyroll’s license covers North, South and Central America, Europe, Oceania, India, the Middle East, Africa and CIS, which always makes me suspect they’re trying to mutter ‘Russia’ without saying it but I’m never sure.
Tetsuya Yanagisawa will direct, and the star, our young hero called Fate Graphite, is voiced by Ryota Osaka. The magic sword Greed sounds like Tomokazu Seki.
Crunchyroll describes the series;
Fate, a castle guard in a world where one’s skills are everything, has acquired a skill called “Gluttony” that does nothing but make him hungry, leaving him with a miserable life.
But one day, he defeats some who are bandits infiltrating the castle, and his world changes.
Thus begins the story of how a young man once ridiculed as talentless climbed from the lowest stratum of life to the top.
