The final trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem has been released by Paramount Pictures, and I think I’m just as excited for this as I was for Barbenheimer.
Along with some new footage from the movie, it also includes some of the fantastic reviews it’s been getting – and apparently, it really delivers.
Not only have we heard it’s a fresh take on the franchise, but it’s also still said to capture the heart of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I for one can’t bloody wait!
Check out the trailer and tell us what you think!
So, what’s the plot? Well, in this movie, our favourite mutant turtle brothers (who also happen to be ninjas having been raised by a ninjutsu and martial arts instructing rat who’s also their dad) are sick of spending years in the shadows, sheltered from the human world.
They want to win round the hearts of the general public by performing some heroic acts, so they can just be, like, normal, dude. Along their new friend April O’Neil, they find themselves taking on a mysterious crime syndicate, but it looks like they’ve bitten off more than they can chew when they find themselves face-to-face with an army of mutants. Oh heck.
I especially love this awkward scene below:
The movie was directed by Jeff Rowe, and the voice cast includes Micah Abbey as Donatello, Shamon Brown Jr. as Michelangelo, Nicolas Cantu as Leonardo, Brady Noon as Raphael, Jackie Chan as Splinter, John Cena as Rocksteady, Seth Rogen as Bebop, Ice Cube as Superfly, Rose Byrne as Leatherhead, Natasia Demetriou as Wingnut, Ayo Edebiri as April O’Neil, Giancarlo Esposito as Baxter Stockman, Post Malone as Ray Fillet, Paul Rudd as Mondo Gecko, and Maya Rudolph as Cynthia Utrom.
Out in cinemas on 31st July here in the UK, baby!!!
