Game company Exploding Kittens – who we’ve all heard of by now – have just launched Exploding Kittens: Good vs. Evil, based on the upcoming adult animated Netflix series.
It’s a new standalone version of the original Exploding Kittens, and is designed within the fictional world of the Exploding Kittens TV series.
And have I said the words ‘exploding kittens’ enough yet, with Exploding Kittens the company, the two Exploding Kittens game versions and the Exploding Kittens new Netflix show? Are the words beginning to look wrong yet? Because they are to me. One more time, with feeling… EXPLODING KITTENS!
Here’s what Co-creator and Exploding Kittens CEO Elan Lee had to say about the new game:
Adapting Exploding Kittens into a TV show has been one of our most satisfying creative endeavors. Not only will fans of the upcoming show get to see their new favorite characters on all the Good vs. Evil cards, but new and existing fans will get an exciting gameplay experience with a new game mechanic that pits players against each other in a battle of wits to compete for the most powerful card in the game!
Apparently the stakes have never been higher than in this version of the game.
Exploding Kittens’ Chief Creative Officer and creator of The Oatmeal Matthew Inman commented:
Creating the Exploding Kittens series with Netflix has been a dream come true. Good vs. Evil allowed us to give fans a first look into what the show has in store, and we hope they have just as much fun playing the game as we had creating it.
Exploding Kittens: Good vs. Evil is recommended for ages 7 and up, is fun and easy to learn, and takes around 15 minutes to play for groups of around 2-5 players.
