Hyperborea is a vividly dangerous, edge-of-the-world campaign setting inspired by the weird fiction of Robert E. Howard, Clark Ashton Smith, Michael Moorcock, and many others. It captures the spirit of the original AD&D 1E and John Eric Holmes blue-box D&D rule sets and is compatible with old-school retro-clones such as OSRIC and Swords & Wizardry.
In Hyperborea, players can explore a vast, perilous world filled with savage tribes, ancient ruins, and horrifying monsters. They can battle fearsome foes, cast powerful spells, and uncover lost treasures.
Until the 28th of August, the offer for the RPG is available at the Bundle of Holding.

The Land Beyond the North Wind is a flat, hexagonal realm surrounded by the mysterious Boreas. The sun is bloated and dying, and its unchanging scarlet light bathes the land in perpetual twilight. The seas roil and spill endlessly over the world’s rim.
In this land of decay, heroic warriors, mages, thieves, and other adventurers delve into dungeons and ruins, explore uncharted frontiers, and plunder gold and treasure. They are diverse, from the heavily armoured cataphracts, the pyromancers who wield fire magic, and the runegravers who can decipher ancient languages.
The Gnoph-Yikks are a sublunary race of subterranean creatures drawn to the Land Beyond the North Wind. They are known for their cunning and ability to survive in harsh environments.
The Land Beyond the North Wind is a dangerous place, but it is also a land of opportunity. Those brave enough to explore it will find riches and glory beyond their wildest dreams.
Purchases of North Wind Adventures’ third edition game go to support the Millstone Wildlife Center, the charity designer Jeffrey P. Talanian selected.
