This is a great idea – a lego set that lets you build Diagon Alley. Well. Kinda. If you’re magical enough you’ll get it exactly right but the rest of us will do pretty well.
The set actually comes with 11 minifigures too. You’ll get a lego Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, each with magic wand; Rubeus Hagrid, equipped with his pink umbrella; Fred and George Weasley; 2 Gringotts goblins; Mr. Ollivander; Lucius Malfoy (with Death Eater disguise); Fenrir Greyback and four new lego owls.
Of course, Diagon Alley’s about the buildings – and you get three of those; Ollivanders, Borgin and Burkes as well as Gringotts Bank.
Inside Ollivanders you get access to storage shelves (with wands) and a step ladder. The front desk as an “exploding” function.
Borgin and Burkes has a grow in the dark theme, a vanishng cabinet and a skeleton. The bank is a two-story building with a removable vault, Philosopher’s Stone and dodgy support pillars.
